Description
Stories is the new album of the Mauritian singer Annega. It is part of an artistic project built over several years of creation and encounters.
First of all, the project takes root in an artistic residence launched in 2023. Then, he evolves through different stages of production and musical rewriting.
The packaging of the album reflects this collective approach. It is based on a collaboration between experienced photographers and amateur artists from Mauritius.
Thus, everyone brings their own perspective on Mauritius, its landscapes and moments of life. This approach gives an authentic and deeply local visual identity. Moreover, Stories has already had its first life on stage.
On November 10, 2025, the album was premiered at the J&J Auditorium in Phoenix.
This concert brings together about 800 spectators in a production signed by Kabann Records × Ichos Production. It marks an important stage in the evolution of the musical project.
After this presentation, the artistic team takes a step back to rework the entire project. In collaboration with the studio of the artist Ilario and Vincent Nombro, the pieces are refined for several months.
This phase becomes a meticulous reconstruction work. Every detail is rethought in order to reinforce the coherence and emotional impact of the album. Thus, some compositions evolve to gain strength and artistic clarity. It is especially during this period that the strong title Gete Kot Nou Ete is born.
